Payment Information
- All payments are calculated in Australian Dollars and fall under the Law of the State of Victoria.
Dads Shop Online Service accepts, MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa and PayPal.
Dadshop no longer accepts cheque or money order payments.
Prices
- The prices throughout this site are in Australian Dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax of 10% where applicable). Whilst every effort has been made to list actual prices, factors beyond our control may vary the cost and we reserve the right to amend prices.
Product Availability
- The majority of the products appearing on this site are available to ship. Occasionally however, unforeseen circumstances can leave us temporarily out of stock. Dadshop Service Department will notify you if any items on your order that are unavailable.
Discontinued/Out of Stock Items
- Due to the nature of the retail industry, many products become obsolete or discontinued during the year. Products that are low in stock, fall into this category and are flagged as “Limited Quantity”.
- Dadshop does make every effort to delete such products from the site the moment they become unavailable. If you do place an order for one of these items, and it has sub sequentially become unavailable, Dadshop will contact you immediately and organise a refund.
Refund/Exchange - Change of Mind Policy Non-Faulty Goods
- Dadshop offers a change of mind refund or exchange policy on purchases for a period of up to 5 business days after your receipt of goods.
- This refund or exchange will only be provided for unused or unworn goods that are still in original undamaged packaging. We will not exchange clothing for hygiene reasons, except where required under the Trade Practices Act. This change of mind refund does not extend to products located in the “Audio Visual & Technology” Category.
- To make your claim - Please email our service staff at service@dadshop.com.au , or call 1300 88 2383 within 5 business days of receipt of goods.
- No returns will be accepted after 5 business days.
- No claim will be accepted unless prior contact has been made with our service department and a “Return Authorization” number has been obtained.
- Please include; your receipt, your Return Authorization documentation and, a copy of your Customer Receipt, so that we can process the return correctly and quickly.
- Refunds are processed using the same method provided for the original sale.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to organize and pay for return freight to Dadshop. Dadshop does not refund the cost of freight to, or from, our warehouse.
- Dadshop does not accept goods sent to us as collect/non paid freight and will be returned to the customer at their cost so please don’t send items this way.
- This refund/replacement policy does not in any way affect or overrides any rights that you may have under the Trade Practices Act 1974 or equivalent state or territory legislation.
Faulty Goods
- If for any reason your goods are faulty, normal manufacturers warranty applies. This refund/replacement policy does not in any way affect or overrides any rights that you may have under the Trade Practice Act 1974 or equivalent state or territory legislation.
Gift Certificates
- To purchase a Gift Certificate, simply fill in the quantity of the certificate(s) you wish to purchase, being either individual values or multiples of each, and then put it in your cart. Your Gift Certificates will be despatched via Australia Post or emailed, same day.
- So that you can claim a Gift Certificate, you must log into your Dadshop account.
- In using a Gift Certificate, if your order value is less than the value of the Certificate(s), the balance will be placed into your account for future redemption.
- If, when using the Gift Certificate, your order is more than the face value of the Gift Certificate(s), then you will need to pay the difference, at the time of placing your order.
- Gift Certificates, once redeemed, will be added to the Community Benefits Program or Fathers Day at School Program.
Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions
- Gift Certificates are valid for a 12-month period, from the date of issue.
- Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.
- Gift Certificates can only be redeemed online at www.dadshop.com.au
- Gift Certificates are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- Gift Certificates may not be used to purchase another Gift Certificate.
- Standard Dadshop sales conditions are applicable.
Delivery Time
- Orders placed on Dadshop are delivered in most cases via Australia Post and take around 2 to 10 business days to be delivered within Australia. On rare occasions some items may be delayed due to circumstances out of our control.
Freight - Registered Mail
- All items sent from Dadshop are sent via Australia Post, Australia Post Registered Mail or other couriers for oversize/overweight items. Larger items may be delivered by other heavy freight carriers when Australia Post is unable to provide delivery.
- Your parcel is required to be signed for when you receive it to protect you from theft. If you are not at home when a driver calls at your home, the parcel will be taken to the nearest Post Office (or freight depot for larger items) for your collection. Aust Post (or the allocated courier) will leave a card for you with instructions on how to collect your delivery. The parcel will remain at the Post Office or freight depot for four (4) weeks. If it is not collected during that time the item will be returned to us at Dadshop.
- If Dadshop is to arrange delivery a second time, we have the right to charge you a second freight charge, which must be paid prior to us re-dispatching your goods.
Freight Charges
- Dadshop freight charges are calculated at a fixed price of $8.95 per delivery for delivery Australia wide. This price includes delivery insurance
Goods in Transit - Location
- Should you wish to know where your packages are, simply email service@dadshop.com.au, type in your invoice number in the subject line and request the information required. Alternatively please call our service team on 1300 88 23 83.
Goods Missing/Damaged in Transit
- We understand that loss of goods/damaged goods in transit is extremely rare. This is important for you – the customer - to understand, that ownership of the goods shipped to you - passes to you - once they are collected from Dadshop by the respective carrier. (This is normal commercial practice)
- Dadshop does however, insure against this contingency . Dadshop pays for this insurance with every delivery to every customer. Dadshop will replace goods damaged or missing in transit, once a customer has made an official claim and the respective courier has approved that claim on this insurance. This process does take some time and is out of our control. We do however make every effort to ensure all claims are processed expediently.
